PROJECT BACKGROUND
The architectural scenery in Bangladesh has been emerging with a new era regarding development of infrastructures and its aesthetical implication in building design. Architecture & Architects always relates the roots of the inhabitants & the society. Through this IDCOL corporate building, we’re trying to present the transition of Architectural time in our country’s context & reflect the true aesthetic expression of urbanization. Our object is to create a building with minimal modern Architectural language with respect to the true climatic considerations of current building site.

CONCEPT
In nature,
From logic to practice everything around us has its unique pattern, structure & exposure. While nature guide us for “who” to be it also refers to “what” to be. Ecologically a building architecture should be in harmony, should follow its urban ecological pattern & should have the ability of self-breathing.The concept of IDCOL building is the simplicity of natural structures while keeping in mind of the company’s integrity & transparency.

VENTILATION & LIGHTING
The building is well ventilated and naturally lighted as we are proposing the facades with lowE clear glass. As the concrete terrace is going to provide the maximum shade at the hottest surface of the building. We can also provide operable window at the upper and the lower portions of a glass section for optimal natural ventilation. And because of the outer envelope this building can run naturally during the cooler time of the season. Sufficient amount of air flow surrounding the building inside shaded surface is going to reduce the air condition consumption about 52% overall depending on interior design. The north side of the building wide ranged glass surface to embrace the most welcomed natural day light of south Asian region.

STRUCTURE & MATERIAL
IDCOL building is based on post slab structure. The proposed elements for the building project is RCC and Fare face concrete, concrete or ferrock lattice and low-E glass surface at the east, west and north side of the building. Grasscrete for paved areas and recycled wood for internal office partition among with the corridor space.
